Aqara Gas Detector

The Aqara Gas Detector is a smart Zigbee 3.0 sensor that detects natural gas leaks. It works with an Aqara hub to provide instant alerts and can trigger automations to enhance home safety. The sensor detects methane and sounds a local 85dB alarm and flashes a red LED when concentrations reach 10% of the Lower Explosive Limit.

Unlike most Aqara sensors, the Gas Detector is an AC-powered device, so it doesn’t need battery changes and acts as a Zigbee repeater to strengthen your mesh network. When paired with an Aqara hub, the detector sends push notifications, including critical alerts, to your smartphone so you are notified of leaks even when away from home.
